How natural for those words to have been on Jesus' lips as went down into the water:
Our Father, Who art in heaven, holy be Your name. Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread.The prayer of the Messiah, as he takes up His office before the world. And then the second half of the prayer - offered by One Who was perfectly sinless, but the
representative of a sinful race:Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.The Love of Jesus for us - Our Father...give us our daily bread...forgive us. Thank You God! What else can we feel at this moment besides gratitude and awe?
